Phase 1 begins in the Andes

Title: Phase 1 of the Everest 2027 Project Begins: Training in the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash

Text:With great enthusiasm, the Phase 1 – Preparation and Training in South America of the Everest 2027 Project has begun in the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Huayhuash. During this first stage, the Peruvian Andean Rescue (S.A.P.) brigade members are conducting technical training in glacier rescue, deep crevasse rescue, complex evacuations, and extended high-altitude simulations.

The training includes progressive acclimatization on volcanoes such as Chachani, Misti, and Coropuna, as well as iconic trekking routes like the Santa Cruz Trek and Huayhuash Trek, preparing the team for the project’s international phases.
